What a gorgeous hike! This is so perfect for a quick, approachable hike close to Denver. Only 3 miles round trip and there are just enough steep parts to make it feel like a workout, but not to difficult that families couldn’t enjoy it.
You start with views of Red Rocks and then the higher you climb you start to see Denver come into view!
What’s nice about this hike compared to others like Red Rocks/Morrison Slide Trail, there’s some shade! As you’re getting back into Mount Falcon Park you get a bit of a break from the sun through the trees and a few glimpses of the snowcapped mountains behind the park.
Parking is free in the lot and dogs are allowed on leash.
