A nice little four-mile dog-friendly trail that loops around NCAR, without starting at the busy parking lot (although that parking lot is great because there is always parking.) Instead, you start in a neighborhood with street parking and loop around.
Beautiful views of the Flatirons, valley below and along a river for a good chunk of the trail – it’s a nice, moderate hike that ends up being just shy of four miles.
