Beautiful, moderate hike with a stunning view of Strawberry Lake at the end. Strawberry Lake hike is listed on AllTrails at just over 3 miles, but I clocked about 4 miles with this as an out and back. The trail starts off a road along Lake Granby, not too far from Grand Lake. There isn’t an official parking lot, but the AllTrails directions work well and bring you to the location. The trail isn’t marked but it’s easy to find then very easy to follow the whole way.
The first mile is a little steep, then the trail levels off nicely. Lots of shade as you hike through and then the opening for the lake is gorgeous! We had to pick Brewster up and carry him to the small dock – totally worth it for some gorgeous views!
