Royal Gorge is only two hours from Denver and the views are well worth the trek! The Overlook loop is an easy, quick trail for an incredible view of the gorge and Arkansas river below.
You could easily drive up to the overlook, but why not get moving for a beautiful reward.
Park at the trailhead (first one you’ll come to driving into the park, on the right) and the trail starts right across the street. The path is well-maintained and easy to follow. It’s about a half mile up to the view, then you loop back and down.
