Mount Falcon Park is such a gem and it’s only 35 minutes from downtown Denver, right near Indian Hills. There are lots of hiking options through the park, but taking Castle Trail to Meadow Trail is a perfect loop for beginners, families or just a quick easy hike!
It’s only 2.2 miles and the elevation gain is less than 300 feet so there are a only a couple of spots where it’ll feel like a workout. The trail itself is beautiful with lush green meadows, wildflowers and gorgeous views. It’s well marked so you won’t have any trouble following the signs. Plus, you even get to check out the ruins of an old house which is pretty remarkable.
