I’m still in awe at just how close we are to incredible trails, sometimes even right in our backyard! Bluffs Regional Park is like that, it has the feel of a neighborhood walk while still offering some pretty nice views of the foothills and all the way to Denver.

The trail is well maintained, smooth dirt for almost the entire way. There’s also plenty of room on the trails for social distancing! The route I did was less than three miles and just under 400 ft in elevation gain.

This is a great trail for beginners, but it is more than just a walk – there are a few parts where you’re definitely going uphill and will feel it! That said, it’s definitely approachable enough for the whole family.

Dogs are allowed on leash so I brought my favorite buddy, Newt!
