This trail is such a gem for summer wildflowers & fall colors! An hour and a half from Denver, just north of Silverthorne it’s three miles to go all the way to the peak, but you can turn around at two miles like we did to make it a little easier.Â
Highly recommend! It’s a great workout but never too steep. Dogs are allowed on leash!
*Alltrails currently has this the loop listed as closed/unsanctioned. There is no signage when you are at the trailhead indicating a closure for the loop – this trail is open and sanctioned.
